In January 2007, T-Mobile USA is the fourth largest ISP in the United States with 25 million subscribers. Being the smallest supplier operating throughout the country, T-Mobile USA is often competitive in its price offers and attracts a younger market. The company is also performing on accessories: it is the first U.S. Company to launch a service of rings (called “CallerTunes”, video messaging and “HiFi Ringers” (ringtones as clips of songs). Although the proprietary network of T-Mobile USA is the smallest domestic suppliers, the company has entered into several contracts roaming with its main competitors (such as Cingular) and with several local suppliers.

An important feature of most Smartphone is that they allow the installation of programs to increase data processing and connectivity. These applications can be developed by the manufacturer of the device, the operator or by a third party. The term “intelligent” refers to any interface, such as a keyboard QWERTY in miniature, a touch screen, or just internet access and e-mail from a company paying or personal, free. Smart phones are distinguished by many characteristics, including, among others, touch screens, an operating system and connectivity to the Internet. The full email support seems to be an indispensable feature found in all existing models and announced in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
